Weekly Focused Assemblies 2024-2025

Week beginning 06/01/2025

In our assembly this week, we enjoyed welcoming the children back after the Christmas holiday. We talked about new year and that this is often a time for people to reflect on the year before and hopes and dreams for the future.

We talked about new year resolutions and some of us shared our resolutions.

Mrs Tilley then set a Rednal Hill New Year Resolution for everyone in the school community to follow:

To understand and learn our Rednal Golden Norms and to make sure that our behaviour shows that we are role models of them.

We spoke about our Golden Norms, what they mean and how we can behave in a way that shows that we understand them.

We then spoke about how we can all earn Dojos for meeting the Golden Norms!

We then talked about how meeting all of our Golden Norms can lead to even more rewards in school. Here are some examples of the rewards that we get in school:

We finished our assembly by listening to some calming music and thinking time about how we are going to all work together to meet our Golden Norms.
