Admission Arrangements

As a community school we publish a link to the local authority’s website for parents and carers (see below) who wish to find out about the school’s admission and appeal arrangements. It is the local authority that manages both processes.

The transition from Yr 2 to Yr 3 (infants to junior school) and Yr 6 to Yr 7 (junior to secondary school) is handled by the local authority. Parents are asked to complete a school application either on paper or online and send it to Birmingham Local Authority.

For admission details please follow this Birmingham City Council link

Any transfers during the school year or pupils joining the school at the beginning of year 4, 5 or 6 are handled by the school. We would request that you contact the school office (0121 4532520) and make an appointment to meet the Headteacher. This appointment will allow you to ask any questions, find out information about the school and have a tour of the school. In the unfortunate case that a year group is full and no more pupils can be admitted. The local authority have a waiting list system.

For in year admission guidance follow this Birmingham City Council link

Any appeals will be considered by the governing body.
