Weekly Focused Assemblies

Week Beginning 02/01/23

In our assembly this week, we welcomed the children back to school and spoke about our school value of ‘being the best that we can be.’ The teachers and children shared ideas around setting ourselves a new year resolution to be the best that we can be, and we talked about how important it is to persevere and have a growth mindset.

We then shared and enjoyed the story ‘The Most Magnificent Thing’ which is about a young girl who sets out to make something only to find that it wasn’t as easy as she had thought. With perseverance, she continues, and she reaches her goal.
