Spectacular Space
Here are some examples of work from our earth and space topic, Spectacular Space:
- At the beginning of each topic, children are asked to record their prior knowledge on a Thought Shower. Throughout the unit of work, they then add new learning to showcase their learning journey.
- Children are given opportunities to conduct their own research as ‘Research Rangers’ and record their knowledge in fact files like this one.
- Year 5 visited the National Space Centre where they explored the exhibits and experienced a talk in the Planetarium. It looks like great fun!
